Jabba Progress

I havent had time to do to much to Jabba but I am starting to rough in the folds and wrinkles on his face and body.This is going to take some time.I dont want to just make lines on him I want to take the time and actually make folds and wrinkles.Its more time consuming but will look better in the end.

This is a project I started a long time ago and was put in the closet of doom for quite awhile. I am getting ready to start working on it again and get it done.

Stealth Pilot Progress

Well I have been working on the Animated Stealth Pilot helmet. I have got the left side about where it needs to be in terms of angles etc. now to match the right side.
I totally re tooled and re shaped the snout i actually cut it off on both sides and reset the in at a steeper angle.The way i had it was all wrong it was to flat and flaired.
Once that is complete Ill move on to the back and then finish sand it.

More Jabba Prgress

It's been so frigging hot here I haven't been able to do much of anything, resins cure to quick ,clay gets to soft.......
But I did work on this last night for about 30 minutes,bulked out the belly and flab rolls added the start of arms and started to do a little detailing on the head and left arm.

More Jabba Progress

Well I wadded up a whole roll of tinfoil then bulked that with rolled up paper towels,then covered with a layer of bondo.This worked well and helped bulk out the armature well so now I wont have to used a ton of clay.At 9.00 a box thats a good thing.
So now I will add clay over the armatures and add in the folds and wrinkles.Im not going to worry about the details until after its all bulked out.To see video click the video of the day to the right.Double click to watch full size.

To hot to do anything

Well its our 5th day of 90-100 degree weather with high humidity.So sculpting,casting or doing any fg work is impossible.My Ac isnt even doing much to help gotta love it.
Hopefully it will start to cool down soon so i can get some shit done.
